What I want to do in Globaloria this year.

This year I would like to make a better game the last years game. I hope to further my flash skills enough to make my own games some day. I think that it will go better than last year with a new partner and a new concept it is unpredictable what we may come up with. I would like to make a longer game hopefully another platform because I enjoy playing them. At the top is a link to the srms wiki.

The year summary.

The presentations went well our team the dancing goombas of doom got best review. At least that's what our friend Chuck told us. This year went well I had a lot of fun making our game. I had a lot of laughs I consider most of the people in our class my friends. Ms.Barker done a good job teaching us about flash. I hope to win the competition but we will just have to see.

There are a few things in our game that I would like to have done. One was that whenever you collect a scroll that Sacajawea would put it in her hair that looks somewhat like an Afro. Another one was that we would liked to have more than one character that you could play as but we were scraped for time so we just kept the one. There were a lot more little odds and ends we could have added but this is our first game in flash so it will not be the best but we will try. Hopefully with some luck we will have an even better game next year.

My civics engagement.

I think that the geography was hard to teach because it was hard to find good information and to find a way to incorporate into our game was difficult. But that is when I came up with the ideal for information scrolls.

We also teach through the use of obstacles such as trees and rocks to show that it was rough country they were going through. It was hard to think of a way to put it in our game but when I figured out how to it was easy.

I think that on TV and radio the people present the facts in a way that benefits them. They try there best to persuade us to go to there side. It is hard to find a place were you can get facts that are true without someone trying to change it to there benefit. So the best way I have found to find good information is to check many different places and compare them. The way I do it is to search for sites and then narrow it down to the best few then I use those.

This is a Honda Civic it has no real relation with civics but when I searched this is what came up. But I did manage to find an actual civics picture.

The team I chose is the Muffin Tanks. There game is Survival of the smartest it is about the second amendment. In there paper prototype I can see that there is a little man that gets the box and makes the question come up. In there demo you have to click it I thank that is a good adjustment because it is easy to make a button but some times it is hard to collect stuff like that.



In there level I see that there is one enemy that you defeat but I like the new level were there are a bunch of enemy's coming and you have to shoot them. One of the big changes is the characters the use of stick figures is a classic look that I really like.
